I was always intrigued with Martial Arts and at a point in my life when I could make a commitment-I got started. For anything important in my life-commitment is essential. Uechi Ryu has helped me get through a lot of Ups and Downs in my life-always having a centering effect and always been a safe place to go. I love having to work hard, learn new skills, and always striving to get better.

The training I do with my fellow students and the great attitude everyone has-has created such important and strong friendships. I feel blessed and grateful that I met Buzz Durkin and he introduced me to this wonderful path that I am on.
